Watched this yesterday. And what can I say about it? Excellent, touching yet horrifying. My cousin queued for 2 hours just to get the tickets. All the cinemas here are full for the show. The show was truly an eye-opener.
The slogan for the show: "We were warned". Indeed, we were warned, not through this show but already being warned through the Bible. The Lord said that His second coming would be like that of a thief; no single person knows when the Rapture is. The show though stated it's 2012, it can just be at any time, even now. The Lord made this world beautiful in His eyes, but we as humans have sinned tremendously deep. We were given the authority and intelligence over animals yet we don't take care of the world that has been made so wonderful for us. We consumed and enjoyed what the world offers, but do we give back? Yes, we do! In a negative way. By producing increasing amount of CFCs, contributing more pollutions and litters and even taking away the natural resources such as deforestation. The world is ruined by our own hands, people. We are educated yet
we don't practice what we've learned. We encouraged people to do the 3Rs, yet we also did not practice what we preached. We are reaping what we sow. Even now, I am already experiencing a terribly hot temperature here. A temperature of 37 degrees celsius to even 40 and once every two days there would be a blackout. Now I know how my parents feel living here. It's really very infuriating.
Let me tell you a bite of the show (for those who have not watched). The show is actually like the Noah's story in the Bible. The Lord saved Noah and his family and some animals by putting them inside the ark through the times of the great flood. In the show, there was great-impact earthquakes and the earth just seem to fall apart. The highways, the buildings, the seas. It was an uproar. Everyone's running for their lives. However, only some get to be saved when they board the "tank" (i think it's a tank). And... the rest of the part of the story, you go watch it yourself. It's worth the $.
Feel like watching it for the 2nd time! =) However, the more important thing now is that: Spread the Gospel to as many people as possible before the Lord comes the 2nd time. We have to pray.
